Tensions Escalate: India Moves Warships Toward Pakistan, Karachi Port Under Threat

Mumbai – In a serious development amid rising India-Pakistan tensions, the Indian Navy has deployed a fleet of advanced warships equipped with supersonic cruise missiles toward Pakistan’s coastline, with Karachi Port reportedly in their crosshairs.

Sources within India’s defense establishment confirm that the Western Naval Fleet has been moved to the northern Arabian Sea — positioning it within striking range of Pakistan’s largest port city. This area is critical for Pakistan, handling over 60% of its imports and exports and housing the Pakistan Navy's central command.

A senior Indian defense official told The Telegraph:
🗣️ "We are fully alert and prepared for any potential threat. This deployment is part of our surveillance and deterrence strategy."

🚢 The strike group includes:

  • An aircraft carrier
  • Guided-missile destroyers
  • Frigates
  • Anti-submarine vessels

Several ships are reportedly armed with BrahMos cruise missiles, capable of delivering a 300 kg warhead at speeds over Mach 3 and hitting targets up to 500 miles away.

🎯 Defense analysts warn that any military action targeting Karachi could severely impact Pakistan’s economy and naval strength.

🇵🇰 So far, Pakistan has not issued an official response.
